One of the most pleasant and refreshing ways to enjoy nature and all its treasures, are on horseback through the koppies of the Free State. Come enjoy a relaxing day of horseriding with Cowboy Kleinhans, Just 30 km north of Bloemfontein on the N1, and experience the unforgettable beauty of our beautiful province.
Cowboy Kleinhans, from the farm Cyferbank, will make dreams come true for any city slicker. Twice a day Cowboy undertakes trail rides and accompanies the riders on well behaved and well trained horses through wildlife camps as well as cattle ranches on adjacent farms. His aim is to introduce the horse riders to nature as well as to unlock their love of horses.
Cowboy had a love and passion for horses since his early childhood His wife also relaxes with him when they make time to ride on the adjacent private game reserve and spend a quiet evening around the campfire. Cowboy's policy is for all to enjoy the trail rides. He sets a pace according to the slowest and least experienced rider.
On request riders can visit graves of English soldiers who were killed in Battle during the Anglo-Boer-War. Observation posts, built with rock by the Boer-forces during the Battle-of-Klein-Osspruit in April 1901, can also be visited. The highlight of these trail rides is a moonlight ride.
